Established in 2011, TEPA ENGINEERING swiftly became a prominent player in telecom infrastructure. Inspired by the surge in fiber optic projects across East Africa, the company has executed network construction contracts with major telecom providers in Rwanda, including MTN, Liquid Telecom, and KTRN. Beyond Rwanda, TEPA ENGINEERING has successfully worked in Burundi, constructing kilometers of fiber optic networks. Additionally, the company has made significant contributions in DRC and Uganda for both wired and wireless networks.
In 2010, the government of Rwanda constructed 2300km of fiber in 10 months, and Uganda constructed 3000km in the same year. TEPA ENGINEERING, founded in the wake of these developments, positioned itself as a leading telecom infrastructure contractor in the region. The company extended its reach to Gabon, opening a subsidiary named Infratel, showcasing its commitment to advancing telecom infrastructure in the broader East African region.
