Building Africa's Telecom Infrastructure
Established in 2011, TEPA Engineering emerged during the surge in fiber optic expansion across Africa. We have since delivered network construction contracts for major telecom operators in Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Tanzania, DRC, Gabon and Nigeria, building the physical layer that enables digital transformation across the continent. Today, TEPA has a presence in Rwanda, Tanzania, Gabon and Nigeria.
From underground fiber routes to wireless tower infrastructure, our end-to-end capabilities span design, construction, splicing, testing, activation, and provisioning.
TEPA Engineering Nigeria
TEPA Engineering Nigeria designs, builds and maintains fiber networks for telecom operators. Our scope covers outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) works: route survey and design, pole installation, aerial and underground cable deployment, street cabinets and ODFs, splicing, testing and commissioning, supply of network materials, and maintenance.
In Ibadan, Oyo State, we are deploying the FTTH network for Canal+ Telecom (Canal Box), from survey and design through to splicing, testing and handover, bringing high-speed fiber to homes and businesses across the city.

Schools Connectivity
Built the 2024 schools network connecting over 1,500 schools: 3,000 km of last-mile fiber, 100 km of backbone and a LAN in each school. TEPA now maintains this network and BSC's existing fiber network.
Underground Network
Main contractor, executing about half of KTRN's networks and managing its 5,000 km underground network. Routes include Nyagatare–Gicumbi (80 km), Huye–Nyaruguru (40 km), Ngoma–Bugesera (80 km) and the speed camera project (100 km).
Wireless Network Design
Network design and deployment of the KTRN wireless network in Kigali (2013).
MTN Rwanda Fiber Ring Network
Fiber ring construction, network relocation and maintenance, including supply of fiber materials.
GPON and DWDM Networks
One of Liquid Telecom's main contractors for the installation of its GPON and DWDM networks.
FTTH Networks
Design-to-implementation partner for Airtel's FTTH networks, including the Kigali CBD network, with material supply, construction and maintenance.
